Write for us
We welcome clear, original pitches about the shape of a week: routines, planning choices, focused time, rest and reflection. A strong contribution offers a distinct idea readers can adapt without presenting one schedule as right for everyone.
What to pitch
Send a short proposal for a reported, explanatory or reflective piece with a defined reader question and a fresh angle. We are interested in the reasoning behind a weekly habit, a careful comparison of approaches, or a specific situation that brings a broader idea into focus. Keep the subject within the publication's scope and avoid unsupported claims or professional advice.
What makes a strong proposal
Explain the central idea, why it belongs in Active Weekly Briefing and what the reader will take away. Mention the form you have in mind and any relevant experience or material you would draw on, without overstating what it establishes. Original work should be clear, specific and considerate of readers with different routines and constraints.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your working title and a concise pitch in the message. Please send a proposal rather than a complete unsolicited article. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time.
A week is a pattern, not a contest
We favour plans that can bend. A useful week makes space for commitments, attention and rest without treating every hour as a target.
